Single Nest Treatment

Typical cost: £90–£120

Covers assessment, treatment at the nest entry point using PPE and appropriate equipment, and confirmation that activity has stopped. Most single, accessible nests are resolved in one visit.

Additional Nests on the Same Visit

Typical cost: £30–£70 each

If more than one nest is found on the same property during the same visit, additional nests are usually charged at a reduced rate rather than as separate full call-outs.

What Pushes the Price Up

• Difficult access — a nest deep in a wall cavity, at height, or in an awkward loft position takes more time and sometimes specialist equipment
• Multiple separate nests in different parts of the property
• Later-season treatment — larger, more established colonies later in summer can occasionally need a slightly more involved treatment approach than an early-season nest

What’s Usually Included

• Treatment at the nest entry point
• No separate call-out fee on top of the treatment price
• Confirmation that activity has stopped, typically within 24-48 hours

Why We Don’t Always Recommend Physical Nest Removal

For nests inside a wall cavity or loft space, treating at the entry point is usually safer and just as effective as trying to physically extract the nest structure — and doesn’t involve opening up your wall or roof. Where a nest is visible and safely accessible (a shed, an exposed branch), physical removal can be included.

Given how quickly wasp colonies grow through summer, we prioritise same-day or next-day appointments during the April-September season — this is included in the standard price, not an added-cost rush service.
